| 5. Registration 5.1. Register In order to register ImageEngine, it is necessary to purchase a registration key through our online store. Having completed the purchase, the registration key will be sent by e–mail. Starting with version 2.0 ImageEngine is available as a Standard-Edition ImageEngine Std and as a Pro-Edition ImageEngine Pro. The Standard-Edition ImageEngine 2.0 Std offers up to 3 Watched Folders while ImageEngine 2.0 Pro allows an unlimited number of Watched Folders. Please consider to acquire the right registration key for the desired edition. If you already purchased a registration key for version ImageEngine 1.xx or ImageEngine 2.0 Std you are eligable to purchase a registration key to upgrade to ImageEngine Pro 2.0 subsequently. More information about how to register an upgrade is available in topic 5.3. Choose the menu "ImageEngine" –> "Register". The registration dialog will appear.  Please enter the registration details and press "Register". If the registration information is valid, ImageEngine is now registered with this computer. Note: To use ImageEngine on a computer running both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, it is necessary to register ImageEngine for every OS separately. 5.2. Unregister In order to remove an existing registration (e.g. to register ImageEngine with another computer), choose the menu "Image Engine" –> "Register". Instead of the registration dialog the following alert will appear.  In order to remove the existing registration from a computer, press the "Demo" button. From now on, ImageEngine runs in demo mode again. Note: If ImageEngine was registered on a computer running both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, it is necessary to unregister ImageEngine for each OS separately. 5.3. Register an Upgrade Starting with version 2.0 ImageEngine is available as a Standard-Edition ImageEngine Std and as a Pro-Edition ImageEngine Pro. The Standard-Edition ImageEngine 2.0 Std offers up to 3 Watched Folders while ImageEngine 2.0 Pro allows an unlimited number of Watched Folders. If you already purchased a registration key for version ImageEngine 1.xx or ImageEngine 2.0 Std you are eligable to purchase a registration key to upgrade to ImageEngine Pro 2.0 subsequently. Note: A registration key for an upgrade can only be used if ImageEngine has been already registered with a registration key of version ImageEngine 1.xx or the Edition ImageEngine 2.0 Std!  In this case please register the registration key of version ImageEngine 1.xx or the Edition ImageEngine 2.0 Std at first and then the upgrade registration key. Note: To use ImageEngine on a computer running both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, it is necessary to register ImageEngine for every OS separately. |
